Directions
Mix the first 2 ingredients and set aside for about 1 to 2 hours.
Then add the sugar, mustard and garlic powder set aside again for 20 to 30 minutes more, until the mixture becomes a nice yellow color.
Then add the lemon juice and set aside for another 25 to 30 minutes.
At this time after mixing add the chopped onion and set aside for about 30 minutes and then you can also add your poppy seed or celery seed whichever you prefer.
After that the put into refrigerator for 2 to 3 days or until the oil and vinegar separate and then stir and serve cold.
This can be used as a dressing or as a marinate for meat also.
