Cream cheese and sour cream whip together with amaretto and a touch of heavy cream to create a silky sauce that tastes like sophisticated cheesecake filling.

Spoon it over strawberries, blackberries, or blueberries for an instant elegant dessert that requires zero baking.

Chilling the sauce lets the flavors meld and thickens it up so it clings to the berries instead of pooling at the bottom.

Kitchen Tips

  • Room temperature cheese: Let the cream cheese sit at room temp for 30 minutes before beating; cold cheese creates lumps that won’t smooth out.
  • Berry prep: Wash and thoroughly dry berries before serving; wet berries water down the sauce and make it runny.
  • Make ahead: This sauce keeps for 3-4 days in the fridge, so you can prep it ahead and spoon it over berries right before serving.
