| 4 | cups | green beans | fresh or frozen |
| 1 1/2 | cups | mushrooms, canned | fresh, sliced or 1 cup canned |
| 1 | cup | pork | cooked, shredded |
| 1 | medium | onion | sliced |
| 1 | tablespoon | soy sauce | |
| 1 | x | salt | |
| 3/4 | cup | water | |
| 3 | tablespoons | vegetable oil | |
| 1 1/2 | tablespoons | cornstarch | dissolved in |
| 1/2 | cup | water |
Slice and prepare all ingredients.
Place oil in wok and heat up moderately.
Add pork and onions to wok and stir fry together two minutes.
Add soya sauce, beans, salt and 3/4 cup of water.
Cover wok and cook ingredients a full 6 minutes under medium high heat.
Lift cover of wok several times to stir ingredients.
At the end of six minutes, add mushrooms.
Cook a further 3 minutes, with wok covered, stirring occasionally.
Mix corn starch in 1/2 cup of water.
Lift cover off wok, add starch solution to form gravy.
Shut heat off.
NOTE: Ground beef or chicken may be substituted for the meat above.
