| 2 | each | green bell peppers | diced |
| 2 | medium | onions | diced |
| 2 | large | eggs | lightly beaten |
| 2 | pounds | beef chuck | ground |
| 1 | pound | sausage meat | bulk |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | black pepper | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | garlic powder | |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | onion powder | |
| 1 | cup | rolled oats | |
| 1 1/2 | cup | ketchup |
Preheat the oven to 375. Combine all the ingredients except 1/2 cup of the ketchup in a large mixing bowl. Mix well and shape into a nice, even loaf. Place the loaf in a shallow baking dish and top with the remaining ketchup.
Bake for 90 minutes or until well-done.
When I made this meatloaf, my husband made such a pig of himself !
It is easy to make, great taste,and even looks good!
This is "fit for a king".

This is a hit with adults and children and is a great appetizer! I use the apple jelly instead and 1/2 cup of regular mustard instead of the bottle of chili. If you're in a hurry and need it quickly, melt jelly and mustard on stovetop or in microwave and then add little smokies, heat and serve. Wa-la! Easy and great.
