| 42 | ounces | cherry pie filling | |
| 3 1/2 | cups | cake mix | basic |
| 1 | cup | butter | or margarine, melted |
| 3 | ounces | almonds | slivered |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour cherry pie filling into a 13x9 inch pan. Sprinkle cake mix on top of pie filling. Drizzle melted butter or margarine over top of mix. Top with slivered almonds.
Bake about 45 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool in pan. Makes 1 large cake.

As I perused the soda section I encountered vanilla Pepsi, cherry Pepsi, Lemon Pepsi, caffeine-free Pepsi, and diet Pepsi. EVERYTHING but regular good ole fashioned...
Excellent!! A family favorite. With your recipe the flavor will be enhanced with an addition of 2-4 tsp of chopped garlic.
