| 1 | cup | butter | or margarine |
| 1 | cup | water | |
| 2 | cups | flour, all-purpose | |
| 2 | cups | sugar | |
| 2 | large | eggs | beaten |
| 1 1/4 | cup | sour cream | |
| 1 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1 | teaspoon | almond extract | |
| 1 | teaspoon | baking soda | |
| 1 1/4 | cup | butter | |
| 1 1/2 | cup | milk | |
| 2 | teaspoons | almond extract | |
| 1 | cup | walnuts | or pecans |
| 4 1/2 | cups | powdered sugar |
Melt margarine and water in saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in flour, sugar, eggs, sour cream, extract, salt, and baking soda. Beat until smooth.
Pour into greased 15x10 inch pan and bake at 375 degrees 20-22 minutes. Cool.
Frosting: Heat margarine & milk, then mix in remaining ingredients.
The cake is good.

I had a copy of this recipe and misplaced it. So glad to find it here. It is my absolute favorite cake; moist, easy and yummy!

History - Chives belong to the same family as onions, leeks, and garlic. The Latin name of this species means 'Rush-Leek.'...
Sounds like a pretty good recipe except for that turkey sausage. I'd prefer another kind. Lots of garlic would also do the recipe wonders. Besides that, looks pretty good to me! I'd give it a try instead of mine one time just to see.
