| 1 | loaf | bread dough | thawed from frozen |
| 8 | ounces | mozarella cheese, fat-free | shredded |
| 10 | ounces | spinach | thawed from frozen, chopped, well-drained |
| 6 | ounces | tomato paste | |
| 1/4 | cup | onion | finely chopped |
| 4 | ounces | mushrooms, canned | stems and pieces, drained |
| 1 | cloves | garlic | peeled, minced or pressed |
| 2 | tablespoons | red wine |
Heat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Divide bread dough into 6 equal pieces.
On baking sheets sprayed with non-stick cooking spray, pat each piece into a 7-inch circle.
Combine remaining ingredients; mix lightly.
Spoon approximately 1/2 cup of mixture onto half of each circle.
Fold dough over filling; moisten edges and press together with fork to seal.
Cut small slit in top of each calzone; lightly spray with cooking spray.
Bake at 375 degrees Fahreneit for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown.

General:Basil is a bright green, leafy plant, Ocimum basilicum, which is in the mint family....
This pie is easy to make - the ginger seems to make it special without being overpowering and it's a nice change from apple! I've used different varieties of pears and all work well. Be careful the edges of the pie crust doesn't burn!
