| 1 | pound | ground beef | |
| 1 | small | green bell pepper | diced |
| 1/2 | cup | ketchup | |
| 1 | x | salt | to taste |
| 1 | medium | onion | chopped |
| 1/2 | cup | barbecue sauce | |
| 2 | tablespoons | pickle relish | sweet, chunky |
| 4 | each | hamburger buns | split and toasted |
Cook beef in skillet until well browned.
Add onion and green pepper, cook until vegetables are tender.
Drain off fat.
Stir barbecue sauce,ketchup, relish, salt and pepper into meat mixture.
Simmer a few minutes, stirring often.
Serve meat mixture spooned over toasted buns.

This is a terrific recipe. It is not only fast but also delicious. I used ground beef instead of round steak because that was what I had on hand. Wonderful recipe.
