Ingredients

1 pound pork ground, up to 1 1/2 lbs.
1/2 teaspoon ginger ground
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
43.5 ounces chicken broth
1 cup water
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 1/2 ounces mushrooms fresh, sliced
6 each scallions, spring or green onions sliced
6 ounces wonton wrappers cut into 1/2 inch strips

Directions

In a soup pot, brown the pork over medium-high heat for 3 to 5 minutes, or until no pink remains.

Drain off the excess liquid.

Reduce the heat to medium and add the remaining ingredients except the wonton strips; bring to a boil.

Separate the wonton strips and stir into the soup.

Cook for 8 to 10 more minutes, or until the wonton strips are cooked.
