| 1 | cup | butter | |
| 4 | tablespoons | sugar | |
| 2 | cups | pastry flour | |
| 2 | teaspoons | vanilla extract | |
| 2 | cups | pecans | cut coarsely |
Cream butter, add sugar gradually and cream.
Add flour, vanilla, and nuts.
Roll to size of butter ball.
Bake about 45 minutes in 300 degrees F oven.
Roll in powdered sugar while hot and again when cold.
