| 8 | ounces | cream cheese | softened |
| 6 | ounces | chocolate (semi-sweet) | pieces, melted |
| 3/4 | cup | vanilla wafer crumbs | |
| 1/4 | cup | preserves | raspberry, or your choice, strained |
| 1 | x | almonds | finely chopped |
| 1 | x | cocoa powder | |
| 1 | x | powdered sugar |
Combine cream cheese and chocolate, mixing well.
Stir in crumbs and preserves.
Chill several hours or overnight.
Shape into 1-inch balls; roll in almonds, cocoa or sugar.
Variation: Use butterscotch chips.

I TRIED A RECEIPE THAT SOUNDS JUST LIKE THIS, I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR IT. THANK YOU. THE SALD WAS DELIOUS AND DIFFERENT, HUSBAND, AND GRANDCHILDREN LOVED IT. SOUNDS VERY EASY TO MAKE. SALAD I TRIED HAD RED ONION, PLUS GREEN AND RED PEPPER MIXED. WILL TRY THIS AT HOLIDAY GATHERING .
