By 'starters', I presume you mean Appetizers?
If so, then may I suggest Marbled Strawberries?

I know some would use this for the dessert, but I think it's grand as the Appetizer (use a cheesecake or something else for the dessert)...

MARBLE STRAWBERRIES
Makes about 28 strawberries
Prep: 45 minutes

11 Oz. white chocolate squares, melted
5 Oz. semisweet chocolate squares, melted
1 Qt. large fresh strawberries (about 28), wiped with a damp paper towel

Line a large cookie sheet with waxed paper.
Pour white chocolate into a 9-inch glass pie plate.
Pour semisweet chocolate into a bowl.
Dip a spoon into the semisweet chocolate, then drizzle parallel lines of about 3/4 IN. apart onto white chocolate in pie plate.
Set aside remaining semisweet chocolate.
Make sure strawberries are completely dry.
Holding one strawberry by its hull, dip strawberry into both chocolates, pressing opposite sides of strawberry across dark and white lines to form 2 marbleized flower petals.
Lift strawberry and jiggle gently to drain off excess chocolate.
Place strawberry on prepared cookie sheet.
Repeat process with remaining strawberries and chocolates and arrange 1-inch apart on prepared cookie sheet.
Periodically drizzle more lines of semisweet chocolate across white chocolate. (If white chocolate starts to harden, microwave on Medium for 30 seconds or just until softened; do not stir.)
Refrigerate strawberries until chocolate is firm, about 5 minutes. ENJOY!
Make-Ahead Tip: Strawberries can be made ahead. Just loosely cover coated strawberries and let stand at room temperature up to 2 hours.

As for a Main Course/Entree, may I suggest Chocolate Chicken?

CHOCOLATE CHICKEN
110mins; Serves 4

2lbs Chicken Quarters, cut in pieces
3 tbsp Vegetable Oil
3 Tomatoes, chopped
2 med Onions, chopped
1oz Chopped Almonds
2oz Chopped Peanuts
1 tbsp Sugar
16oz. Chicken Stock
2oz unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 tbsp Vegetable oil
1/4 TSP. Ground Cloves
1/2 TSP. Ground Cinnamon
3/4 TSP. Anise Seed
1 tsp Salt
1/2 TSP. freshly ground Pepper
2 tsp Crushed Chili Peppers
1/8 tsp Cayenne Pepper

Preheat the oven to 350F.
Heat the oil in a large frying pan
add the chicken and brown well on all sides.
Remove the chicken to a large ovenproof casserole dish and set aside.
Add the onions to the pan and sauté until softened
then stir in the tomatoes, almonds, peanuts and sugar
cook gently for 5 minutes.
Add the stock to the frying pan, bring to the boil
then reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, add the cocoa to 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and mix to form a paste.
Add cloves, cinnamon, anise seed, salt, pepper, chili and cayenne and blend well.
Stir the spice mixture into the simmering sauce mixture
mix well and simmer for a further 5 minutes, stirring from time to time.
Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken
cover and bake for 1-1/2 hours until the chicken is very tender. Serve hot.

Call the Hotel in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Once a year they put out a buffet that has chocolate in each and every item. I am sure that the chef there can help you find some chocolate recipes. Chicken Mole would be a good first course.
