FRUIT PUNCH FOR BRUNCH, A TEA, OR A
SHOWER
1 sm. can frozen lemonade concentrate
1 sm. can frozen orange juice concentrate
1 (42 oz.) can pineapple grapefruit juice
2 qts. Ginger Ale
1 qt. 7-Up
You may add gin if you want to spike it. Garnish with an ice ring and cherries.
Mix all ingredients and serve chilled. Leftovers may be saved in a container in the refrigerator.
PARTY OR SHOWER PUNCH
1 (3 oz.) box Jello of your choice
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. lemon juice
2 c. water
1 (2 liter) bottle ginger ale
1 can pineapple juice
Bring to boil until sugar is dissolved, along with Jello, lemon juice and water. Pour into jug and add pineapple juice. Fill with water almost to top. Freeze until needed. Thaw 3-4 hours. Add 1/2 bottle ginger ale to taste.
My personal favorite is Emerald Punch...
You can halve it for a smaller group...
EMERALD PUNCH
SERVES 40-50
4 cups sugar
2 cups hot water
2 (3 ounce) boxes lime Jell-O gelatin
2 (8 ounce) cans frozen lemonade concentrate
2 (8 ounce) cans frozen orange juice concentrate
1 (32 ounce) can pineapple juice (or 2 16-oz. cans)
1 teaspoon mint extract (optional)
2 liters ginger ale
1-3 cup water, to dilute
green food coloring, if desired
Combine sugar and water, bring to a boil and stir to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat and stir in Jello. Cool.
Add jucies, mint extract if using, and water to desired strength. (taste it first after adding about 1 cup of water. If it is too sweet for you, add some more water until it tastes right.).
Add ginger ale just before serving.
Green food coloring may be added before serving if you like.
