Typical long lost favorite cookie recipe, It was called Chocolate filled bonbons or something similar. They were cookie dough wrapped around several choc. chips, or you could add green or red cherrys or a nut, but they also had almond flavoring in them. Then you dipped the top of the cookie in colored sugar or those colored sprinkles. My kids will be so upset if we don't have these cookies this year for the holidays. The recipe came from a ladies magazine that featured a bunch of Christmas cookie recipes, in the 1980s I believe.
