My kids loved a recipe I made that used garbanzos, lots of garlic and cheese and was baked. I believe it also had a couple of other types of beans in it. I would like to make it for the grandkids but cannot find the recipe. Can anyone help?

Sounds like you're after a cheesy garlic three-bean bake – garbanzos, kidney, white beans, baked with loads of garlic and melty cheese. Kids go wild for this cozy casserole! Perfect for grandkid gatherings or searches like "easy baked bean casserole with garlic," "kid-friendly vegetarian bean bake," or "quick cheesy garbanzo dish for families."

Ingredients (Serves 6):

1 tbsp olive oil
2 onions, diced
1 bell pepper, diced
6 garlic cloves, minced
15oz can chickpeas, drained
15oz can kidney beans, drained
15oz can white beans, drained
2 (14.5oz) cans diced tomatoes (1 drained)
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp chili powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp cumin
¼ tsp cayenne (optional)
½ tsp salt
1½ cups shredded cheddar

Steps:

Preheat oven to 400°F. Heat oil in oven-safe skillet over med-high; sauté onions & pepper 7 min till soft.
Add garlic; cook 1-2 min.
Stir in beans, tomatoes, spices & salt; simmer 5 min.
Top with cheese; bake 10-15 min till bubbly & golden.
Rest 5 min, serve hot!

Pro Tips: Amp garlic with roasted cloves. Swap cheddar for mozzarella for extra goo. Kid-mild: skip cayenne, add sugar to tomatoes. Store fridge 5 days or freeze 1 month. Reheat oven for crisp top!
