There's a terrific cranberry salad on this site,if you'd like to take a look
http://southernfood.about.com/od/fruitsalads/r/blbb339.htm I tried it at Thanksgiving and it was a huge success.

Thank you so much for looking and sharing the possibility of the recipe being great , I will try it but I do know that it is not the one as the recipe I know is quite dry. I think it may have had orange peel in it but not the juice. Merry Christmas

This was my mother's recipe, it is rather dry and you can add whipped cream if you like, but I don't because it will keep for weeks in the fridge without it. I know it's been some time since you requested this recipe, but I hope you get it.

Cranberry Relish

1 package fresh cranberries
1 orange, seeded, do not peel
1 large red apple, seeded, do not peel (up to 4 apples can be used (according to taste)
1 cup chopped english walnuts
1 cup sugar

Put cranberries, orange and apple through food grinder, add chopped walnuts and sugar, combine well. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. Keeps in the refrigerator for weeks.
