I have an abundance of limes this year & looking for a recipe where I can use them in larger quantities ie: cordials, marmalades etc and store them on the shelf. Any ideas? Thanks

A nice lime juice recipie you should try is a pakistani one called schungivine. you get the lime juice add sugar & salt to taste and top with water chill & drink its lovely & refreshing. the important thing is to taste the sugar & the salt keep trying it till you get the right mix. Salted limes are nice Quarter th limes not cutting them right through put a teaspoon of salt in the middle of the quarter making sure the lime is well coated use extra salt if required repeat till your seal up jar is full put on the lid & put bottle in the sun till limes start to brown it can be eaten with various meals put int recipies or made into pickels try it

I'm a Texan living in Kazakhstan and would kill to have your extra limes!! We can get lemons (expensive!!) but haven't seen limes. In answer to your question, squeeze your limes (easier if you have an electric juicer) and freeze in ice cube trays. Then place the cubes in freezer safe bags. Will keep a long time. Good luck from someone who is both jealous and freezing!!
