Does anyone have this recipe? I believe it came from Sunset, Better Homes or Gourmet, but searches of their sites came up blank...

This was basically two slices of bread stuffed with a cream cheese mixture. Cheese mix was basically cream cheese, chopped toasted pecans, orange juice, orange marmalade.

Spread cheese mix on one slice of bread, cover with second slice, dip in egg/spice mixture and cook like regular french toast.

Cranberry syrup I believe was cranberry juice, reduced to a syrup consitency, canned mandarin oranges added and thickened slightly with corn starch.

I don't have any of the quantities though.

*Important to note: This was NOT one of those "make ahead in a 9x13 pan", soaking in the egg mix and baked. I hate those. This was simply a stuffed french toast with a unique syrup.

Thought it would be great for a valentines day brunch!
