Hi ~ I saw your post about that B&D shell baker. Same here, got a baker, no manual. Sure could use one. However, after much research on the web, I did e-mail, via the Black & Decker site, and after a call to their toll free #, they don't have the manual available. So, if you find anyone who has a manual, or even some info. as to how to bake withthis thing, please let me know. I would sure appreciate it.
Thanks ~
Sheila :)
I bought one of these new several years ago. I don't have the manual anymore, and I only use it occasionally, but it's a pretty useful little appliance. Be creative. I use cookie dough and ginger bread to make shells to serve ice cream or fruit for desserts.
About the simplest thing you can do with it is to pop open a tube of pillsbury rolls and make shells for filling with whatever you like. Biscuit dough and pizza dough also work well for me.
It comes with a 1/3 cup scoop to use to fill the cups. Depending on how much the dough you're working with rises, you'll want use more or less than 1/3 cup to get a complete shell. Takes some experimenting.
Have fun!
HI ~ The Black and Decker shell bakers we are referring to only make the shells. They baker appliance top fits into the shell form and bakes a shell only. So we are asking for recipes to make the actual shell dough. Can anyone out there give us a shell recipe that will work in the shell baker? This appliance is not like a muffin pan.. it has a top portion that locks down onto the wells, thereby cooking the shells on both sides at the same time. Please let us know if you have any recipes for shells only. Thanks!
I am lookingh for the manual which comes with the Black and Decker Shell Baker. I understand a member posted that he would share his manual which he had placed on line. I was not a member when i saw the post and now that i am a member I cannot finf the post. Thanks for any help.

Hi Emilee! I know this concerns a posting from a long time ago, but I was wondering if you still have the booklet for the Black and Decker Shell Baker? I just got one through a freecycle group, and I really don't want to set the house on fire.... My email is mwilson523@aol.com, and if you can send it along, I'll be one happy camper!
Thanks much!
Mary
Hello there!
I see you received and downloaded the manual and recipe book for the Black & Decker ShellBaker. I recently came across my ShellBaker, but have been unsuccessful in locating my manual/recipe book. Would you be so kind as to forward it to me?
My e-mail is mcleslie@cox.net.
Thank you.
Cindy
Please email me that book! I have search everywhere but found nothing. I called Black & Decker and was told that nothing is availabale for this gadget. The only thing I was able to find was a booklet for the Black & Decker Pronty Arepa. I think this is the Mexican version of the Shell Baker, but it wasn't of much use.
Please email to mmoore3@cfl.rr.com
I also just bought a Shell Baker at a garage sale and it is missing both the Instruction Booklet and the measuring cup. I see from past postings that it is a 1/3 cup measurer so now all I need is the instruction booklet with basic recipies for making the desserts. Please send to me at glasgowj@verizon.net. Thank you!
