Don't be fooled by the name; it's not a noodle at all. I got thirecipe from my Mom who is 90 yrs. old. She got it from her mother. I would like to know where this originated from. It's either German or Hungarian (we think). You use cold leftover mashed potatoes, add egg, flour & milk. Mix together & roll out like you would for cinnamon rolls. Brush on melted butter or oleo. Sprinkle on cream of wheat, cinnamon, sugar. Roll up & cut. Bake on a cookie sheet flat side down (such as what a fig bar looks like)Brush on melted butter or oleo & bake 350 degrees till golden brown. If anyone has ever heard of this or where the recipe originates from---please let me know. Thanks! ( there are no measurement amounts; just make a nice soft dough) DELICIOUS!!
