Quick and Easy Baked Beans with Sausage
A tasty baked bean recipe slow cooked in the crockpot, with sausage, seasonings, a variety of beans, and more.
INGREDIENTS:
1 can (15 ounces) pinto beans
1 can (15 ounces) small red beans
2 cans (15 ounces each) Great Northern beans
8 to 12 ounces smoked sweet sausage, thinly sliced
1 1/4 cups ketchup
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup maple syrup, grade A or B
1/4 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tablespooons prepared mustard
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
McCormick Onion Gravy Mix
(add in just before cooking and mix well)
PREPARATION:
In the crockpot combine beans, sausage slices, ketchup, onion, maple syrup,
brown sugar, mustard, and pepper. Cover and cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours.
Serves 8 to 10.
