I lost my favorite meatloaf receipe card. It was one with cheddar cheese cube.

Cheesy Meatloaf

This easy meatloaf recipe is filled with chunks of cheese. Scroll down the page for many more meatloaf recipes.

1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed tomato soup

1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef

1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs, unseasoned

1/3 cup chopped onion

1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, cut in 1/2-inch cubes

1 egg, slightly beaten

1 teaspoon salt

dash pepper

1/4 cup water

Mix 1/2 cup of the tomato soup with ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, cheese cubes, egg, salt, and pepper. Shape into a loaf and place in a shallow baking pan. Bake at 350degrees for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Blend remaining soup with the water and a tablespoon or two of the pan drippings. Remove meatloaf to a serving platter; pour some of the sauce over the meatloaf if desired, or serve all of the sauce in a separate dish.
