Made quick and easy by using canned (unsweetened) coconut milk and canned kidney beans, this is a great accompaniment to jerk chicken.
This is my rendition of a recipe from an old Campbell's Soup cook book.
Somewhat similar to chili mac and American goulash found in other areas of the country, this American dish is most prevalent in New England.
Quick, easy and tasty. Chicken cutlets in a quick pan sauce with wine, mushrooms and artichoke hearts. Great for a week-night meal as it comes together so quickly.
Rich yet light in texture the broccoli, swiss and bacon are a great combination. Was very easy to downsize into one serving and bake in an individual baking dish. Very easy prep.
A delicious and filling vegetable and ground pork soup with pasta for two that's ready in under 30 minutes and packed with flavor. It's easy to turn ground pork and pasta into a great tasting inexpensive soup.
Excellent. Several of our guests stated that they hate refried beans but after trying this dip they are converted. Great mix of flavors, I added a chipotle pepper in adobo sauce that was chopped and mixed into the refried beans. A perfect superbowl dip or great anytime you have a gathering.

Quick and easy, great for a fast weeknight meal. Nice balance of flavours!
Classic way to grill and serve a great sirloin steak. The mushroom red wine sauce had a perfect balance and was very easy to prepare. I grilled my steak in a cast iron grill pan to medium-rare and served with a stuffed tomato and a green salad.
An easy beefy one dish meal with Bisquick, ground beef, tomatoes and cheese.
This is based on a delicious Paula Deen chicken recipe. It makes a great appetizer and only uses 5 simple ingredients. I found the original recipe way too sweet so have modified it to be a bit less sweet and have added a spicy kick to balance out the sweetness.
From McCall's Great American recipe card collection, card #1, group #5, Great American Poultry at it's best!
This delicious sweet potato casserole impresses everyone. It's creamy but not too rich, it's sweet but not too heavy. The candied pecan topping adds the extra crunchiness and nuttiness, a great side dish to share on your Thanksgiving table.
The chicken breasts came out juicy, tender and tasty. Sweet, sour and salty orange marmalade - hoisin glaze added a layer of great flavor. Sugar snap peas and carrots were a perfect side dish that went deliciously well with the chicken.
