4 servings
suggest servings
| 1/4 | cup | vegetable oil | |
| 1 | tablespoon | honey | |
| 1 | tablespoon | lime juice | |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | paprika | |
| 1 | x | seasoned salt | to taste |
| 4 | each | chicken breasts | halves |
Mix ingredients (except chicken) in a saucepan and warm just to melt honey.
Arrange chicken breast-side-up in a square baking dish or pan and bake uncovered at 400 degrees about 35 - 40 minutes, basting pieces without turning them, 3 or 4 times during baking.
Immediately upon removing from oven, seal baking dish or pan tightly in foil and let stand 15 to 20 minutes before serving.
wasn't my cup of tea, flavor was very suttle, chicken seemed over-cooked and dry even though I basted it every 10 minutes. could have been me, but I like my chicken on the BBQ for 20 minutes just with a little Johnny's salt. Tastes much better

I went with suggestions from some of the other reviewers and used more honey (2 tablespoons) and a good bit of seasoned salt (1 teaspoon). The chicken was good, but the flavor was more subtle than I would have hoped. I also expected the sweet honey flavor to be more pronounced but it was the lime I could taste most. I was reminded more of a mild mojo flavoring than anything.
I would have enjoyed something a bit more bold. As another reviewer suggested, soy sauce may be a good addition to this recipe. My girlfriend and I both still enjoyed this dish, I was just expecting something more.

definitely a keeper! My husband loved it.

Tasty but I think it needed a little more salt or maybe another tablespoon of honey to give it that extra flavour. Maybe next time I'll add some soy sauce. I'll try the recipe slightly different next time and see how we go.

It was very good. I took the advice of the previous reviewer and used 1 teaspoon seasoning salt. I used covered pots at the end instead of foil (not sure if that matters)

This was very moist & tasty. I used about 1/2 teaspoon of seasoned salt & thought that it could use a little more.

Sounds great! I'll try it

Whole wheat bread is always my favorite, this whole wheat breadsticks are great, all the herbs and garlic mix together, and the breadsticks turned out golden and brown, crispy outside, and moist inside. Yummy.
