| 1 3/4 | cups | flour, all-purpose | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | baking soda | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | baking powder | |
| 1/2 | cup | vegetable shortening | |
| 1 | cup | sugar | |
| 1 | each | egg | |
| 1 | teaspoon | vanilla extract | |
| 1/4 | cup | milk | |
| 18 | large | marshmallows | halved |
| 36 | each | pecan halves | |
| 2 | cups | powdered sugar | |
| 5 | tablespoons | cocoa powder | |
| 1/8 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 3 | tablespoons | butter | or margarine, softened |
| 4 | tablespoons | light cream |
Sift together first 4 ingredients.
Set aside. In mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugar.
Add egg, vanilla and milk.
Add flour mixture and mix well. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350 for 8 minutes.
Remove cookies from oven, and top each with a marshmallow half.
Return to oven for 2 minutes.
Place cookies on wire racks to cool.
Meanwhile, beat last 5 ingredients together.
Spread on each cookie, and top with a pecan half, if desired.

Very quick and easy for me to make. Great replacement for ice cream.
