Apple Walnut Cake

Ingredients

2 cups sugar
1/2 cup margarine
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups flour, all-purpose
1 teaspoon cinnamon ground
4 cups apples thinly sliced
1 cup walnuts chopped

Directions

Cream margarine and sugar in mixing bowl.

Add beaten eggs and vanilla e xtract and whisk to blend well.

Combine baking soda, salt, flour and cinnamon, add to egg mixture and beat until thoroughly mixed.

Add peeled and thinly sliced apples along with the chopped walnuts to batter.

Blend ONLY enough to spread apples and nuts throughout batter.

Grease and flour a 13x9x2 inch pan.

Pour in the batter and bake in a preheated 325 degrees F. oven for 1 hour.
