| 1/2 | cup | active starter | |
| 1/2 | cup | pancake mix | |
| 1 | each | egg | large |
| 1 | tablespoon | vegetable oil | |
| 1/2 | cup | milk | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | baking soda |
Mix all ingredients well.
Be careful not to over mix.
Small lumps are ok.
Lightly grease a hot cast iron griddle.
Drop onto griddle with a large spoon while the batter is still rising.

These are the best! I made these for my boyfriend and it became his new favorite meal. I can take a lot of time and money but is well worth it in the end. It is awesome!
