| 12 | each | pears | peeled, cored, minced |
| 2 | cups | sweet wine | |
| 2 | cups | water | |
| 3 | ounces | honey |
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a boil, and simmer for 30 minutes to 1 hour, until all the liquid has disappeared.
Let cool, and transfer into a jar.
Add a little more honey if you desire a sweeter taste.
