Ingredients

1 each pie shell (9 inch) unbaked
4 ounces chocolate (sweet) for cooking
1/4 cup margarine
14 ounces milk, sweetened condensed
1/2 cup water hot
2 large eggs well beaten
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups pecan halves or pieces

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In medium saucepan, over low heat with margarine, stir in sweetened condensed milk, heat well.

Remove from heat; stir in remaining ingredients.

Pour into prepared pie crust.

Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until center is set.

Cool slightly.

Serve warm or chilled.

Garnish with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.

Refrigerate leftovers.

30-Minute Beef Stroganoff

we enjoyed this recipe very much--I added 1/2 tsp of garlic powder to beef as it was browning, and used beef broth and nonfat yogurt. I will make it again.
