| 4 | cups | pasta, bow-tie | hot cooked |
| 4 | cups | cherry tomatoes | halved |
| 1/3 | cup | basil | thinly sliced fresh |
| 1/4 | cup | olives | chopped pitted niçoise |
| 2 | tablespoons | capers | |
| 2 | tablespoons | olive oil, extra-virgin | |
| 3/4 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | sweet red bell pepper | crushed |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | black pepper | freshly ground |
| 2 | cloves | garlic | minced |
| 1 | x | red wine vinegar | as needed |
Combine first 10 ingredients in a large bowl, and toss well.
Sprinkle vinegar over each serving, if desired.
