Ingredients

1 pound ground beef, lean
1/2 cup rice cooked
1 each onion chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 each egg
8 ounces marinara sauce
1/8 cup vegetable oil
8 ounces beef broth
1 cup water

Directions

Mix half of marinara sauce in with everything except for consomme oil and water.

Form meatballs.

Fry meatballs in oil until lightly browned.

Add rest of marinara, consomme and water.

Cook until tender, about 40 minutes, with the pan covered.

Or bake in the oven at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes.
