| 2 | pounds | ground beef, lean | |
| 1 | x | salt | |
| 1 1/2 | tablespoons | curry powder | |
| 4 | large | eggs | beaten |
| 1 | cup | milk | |
| 1 1/2 | cups | cream, half and half | |
| 8 | ounces | apricots, dried | finely chopped |
| 1 | x | bay leaves | |
| 1 | x | butter |
Combine beef, salt and curry powder. Combine eggs, milk and cream. Combine half of the egg mixture with the beef; stir in apricots.
Turn into a greased 13 x 9" baking dish. Pour remaining egg mixture over top; float several bay leaves on top of milk; dot with butter. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes until top resembles baked custard.

Worked out great. Never made them before. Noted that next time I'll use medium heat to brown and low to finish them off. First round turned out a bit overdone. Was using a ceramic cooktop.
