| 2 | cups | flour, all-purpose | sifted |
| 1 1/2 | teaspoons | baking powder | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1/2 | cup | vegetable shortening | |
| 1/2 | cup | bread crumbs | |
| 1/2 | cup | sugar | |
| 1 | each | egg | beaten |
| 2/3 | cup | milk | |
| 1 1/2 | cups | blueberries |
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
Cut in shortening and add bread crumbs and sugar.
Add egg and milk, mix thoroughly and carefully fold in blueberries.
Pour into greased mold, cover and steam for 2 hours.
Serve with any sweet pudding sauce.
