Noddles

Sometime back I bought an egg noodle at Jungle Jim's that even had a little flour on them. I cannot find them anymore. They are the closest to home made I have had in a package. Between 5 6$, but worth it. Any ideas?

It sounds like you found a really great brand of egg noodles! Jungle Jim's often carries unique and high-quality products, so it's possible that the noodles you bought were from a specialty brand or a local artisan. The little flour coating is a sign of freshly made noodles, which is often used to prevent sticking and to give them that homemade texture.

If you can't find them anymore at Jungle Jim’s, you could try asking the store staff if they can reorder them or if they have a similar product. Additionally, you could check other high-end grocery stores or specialty markets that carry imported or artisanal pasta. You could also look for similar brands online — there are many artisanal noodle companies that offer high-quality, almost homemade-like noodles.

If you’re feeling adventurous, there are even some recipes online where you can try making homemade egg noodles, especially if you're after that unique texture and flour coating you loved! Would you be interested in some recommendations for that?
