BUBBA GUMP SHRIMP NEW ORLEANS
28 shrimp (4 skewers with 7 each)
4 tsp McCormick Cajun seasoning
4 oz lemon butter
12 oz bbq butter sauce (recipe follows)
20 oz Jasmine Rice, cooked
4 Tbsp green onions, thin Chinese cut (for garnish)
2 lemon wheels (for garnish)
garlic bread (optional, for serving)
Season and grill shrimp skewers, basting with lemon butter.
Heat BBQ Butter Sauce (do not overheat the butter sauce or it will break).
Mound rice in center of pasta bowl. Remove shrimp from skewers and randomly arrange around rice. Pour sauce over shrimp. Sprinkle all with green onions. Garnish with twisted lemon wheel on top of rice. If desired, serve with garlic bread.
BBQ BUTTER SAUCE
11 oz whole butter
1 tsp ground cayenne pepper
2 tsp ground black pepper, coarse grind
2 tsp oregano
2 tbsp garlic, chopped
1 tsp sea salt
2 tsp thyme
Combine all the ingredients for teh BBQ Butter Sauce. Hold refrigerated.
