Slow cooker chicken

My mom used to make a chicken dinner in the slow cooker. It had chicken, tomatoes, rice, green pepper, and I can't remember what else. I have been looking for this recipe for a long time. She had the mccall's recipe cards.

Also a chicken and kraut and or cabbage recipe?

Crockpot Chicken with tomatoes

Easy chicken with tomatoes, from Myron.
Cook Time: 7 hours
Ingredients:

* 4 to 6 chicken breasts
* 2 green bell peppers, sliced
* 1 can chopped stewed tomatoes
* 1/2 small bottle Italian dressing (low-fat if desired)

Preparation:
Place chicken breasts, green bell peppers, stewed tomatoes and Italian dressing in the slow cooker or crockpot and cook all day (6 to 8 hours) on low.

Chicken And Kraut Recipe

4 chicken breasts , boneless & skinless

3/4 teaspoon of salt

3/4 teaspoon of pepper

2 cups sauerkraut washed and drained

4 slices of provolone cheese

4 Tablespoons of russian salad dressing

Directions
Preheat oven to 350*
Spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and set chicken in the bottom.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Spread the sauerkraut over each piece of chicken
Top with a slice of provolone cheese
Cover with the Russian salad dressing
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake until chicken is tender, approx. 15 to 20 minutes.

Crockpot Chicken And Kraut Recipe

Ingredients

1 package of bone-in chicken thighs

1/2 bottle of Catalina Salad dress or any French dressing

1 can of sauerkraut

1 Tbls caraway seeds

Directions
Spray the crack with Pam
put in the package of thighs usually around 8
Rinse the can of Kraut and put over the top of the chicken
Pour 1/2 bottle of salad dressing over the Kraut
Sprinkle the caraway seeds over the top
I always start chicken 1 hr. on high and then move to low heat for the rest of the time. I do this recipe 8 to 10 hours. It is so tender you will have trouble removing it from the crock.

CHICKEN CABBAGE CASSEROLE

3 c. uncooked noodles

1/4 c. butter

3 c. shredded cabbage

3 chopped green onions with tops

2 c. chopped, cooked chicken

1 tsp. poppy seeds

1/4 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1/2 c. sour cream

Cook noodles until tender and keep warm. Steam cabbage until hot (crisp). Saute onions in butter. Stir in noodles, poppy seeds and seasonings, cabbage, sour cream and chicken. Stir to coat and serve.
