I am not sure if this is the correct spelling? But it was a cookie my grandfather made. He was from Switzerland. The recipe was a dough with dried pears and prune butter. Then deep fried.

Has anyone else ever heard of this? Any other info?

This is the nearest I have managed to find,
Praps you could adapt it to be what you are actually after.

1/4 c. dried pitted prunes
1/4 c. dried apricots
1/4 c. dried figs
1/4 c. pitted dates
1/3 c. crushed Wheaties cereal
1/4 c. pure honey

melted
coconut or chopped nuts for

Let prunes and apricots stand in boiling water for 5
