I used to make a upside groundbeef pizza from bisquick. I would put all the meat and ingredients in the bottom of a cookiesheet and then put the bisquick on top and bake it and it would reverse itsself like the the bisquick dough would be on the bottom and the meat would be on the top when it came out of the oven. It was delicious and the kids at it all up. Anyone have that recipe out there. Cathy devitt_4@sympatico.ca
Quick Upside-Down Pizza

1 Lb. ground beef
1 Large Jar Ragu sauce
1 Pkg. Mozzarella cheese -- (8 oz.) shredded
1/2 C. onion
1 Tsp. garlic salt
1/4 Tsp. salt
1/4 Tsp. pepper
1 C. Bisquick
2 eggs
1 C. milk
Brown ground beef and set aside. In small bowl, mix
Bisquick, eggs and milk on medium speed until smooth. In
medium-large casserole dish, layer in upside down manner:
ground beef first, onion, garlic salt, salt and pepper, then
cheese, then sauce and last the Bisquick mix made earlier.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cook in oven for 20 minutes
about 350 degrees or 400 degrees according to oven. Serves 6 to 8.

UPSIDE DOWN PIZZA
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. green pepper
10 sm. mushrooms
1/4 lb. sliced pepperoni
1 c. grated mozzarella cheese
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 sm. clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 3/4 c. Bisquick
3/4 c. water
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
Grease 9 inch round cake pan. Sprinkle onion and green pepper over bottom of pan. Layer with mushrooms. Arrange pepperoni over vegetables and top with mozzarella.
Combine tomato sauce, garlic and oregano in small bowl. Spoon over cheese. Combine Bisquick, water, egg and Parmesan in medium bowl. Stir briefly to moisten. Spoon over sauce, spreading gently.
Bake at 350 degrees until top is golden. Immediately turn out onto platter. Cool 5 minutes. Slice and serve. Yields 4 servings.
