I am allergic to Mushrooms... yes I know it is a real shame... but does anyone have a good alternative to mushrooms??

I dont think there is such a thing, being that mushrooms are so unique unto themselves and are often used as a substitute for meat. You can substitute cream of celery or cream of chicken soup for cream of mushroom soup in recipes. A replacement for the fungus itself? ...good luck!
