Frankenstein Cake
2 boxes pound cake mix
1 can dark chocolate frosting
2 miniature peppermint patties
Black decorator sugar
Licorice stick
2 large pretzel sticks
Licorice lace
2 large marshmallows
Red fruit leather
1 can vanilla frosting
Green food color
Bake two pound cake mixes in a 9x13 pan. Cool
completely. Cut into the shape of a Frankenstein face. Frost entire cake green. Add food color to vanilla frosting to make it green. Keep extra cake and use a small squares of cake frosted green for the nose and ears. Pipe two circles of white frosting for eyes and top with a miniature peppermint patties. Use a black licorice stick cut to size for eyebrows. Pipe chocolate frosting for the hair sprinkle with black sugar. Use black licorice laces to create "stitches" on the forehead, cheeks, and chin. Add a fruit leather mouth, and large pretzel sticks with marshmallows on the ends for the final touch.
Bride of Frankenstein Cake
Here's a neat looking cake made to resemble the Bride of Frankenstein.
A loaf pan was used for this and the recipe says that it makes enough cake for 18 servings.

Easy to Decorate Bride of Frankenstein Cake for Halloween
You Will Need:
your favorite cake recipe
loaf pan
your favorite frosting recipe
cake decorating bags and tips
food colors
2 black spice drops
Serves 18
Make and bake your favorite cake recipe using a Loaf Pan (bread pan or meatloaf pan) and let cool.
Remove cake from pan and place on cake board or cardboard covered in foil. Using a spatula, ice 6 inches of top and side of cake smooth with lime green icing.
Pipe tip 12 ball eyeballs, tip 8 ball nose and tip 3 string mouth and eyebrows. Pipe tip 3 green eyelids; edge with tip 3 black outline. Pipe tip 3 dot pupils.
Cut 1 inch pieces of licorice and insert into eyeballs for lashes. Pipe tip 10 curved outline ears; overpipe with tip 10.
Attach black spice drops to sides of neck and wafers to cheeks with dots of icing.
For hair, fit two decorating bags with tip 4B. Fill one bag with white icing and the other with gray. Begin at bottom border on cake side and pipe tip 4B wavy hair. Continue over the cake. On top edge of cake, pipe tip 4B pull-out stars.
