No-Cook Peanut Butter Puff Bars recipe
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 1/2 cups peanut butter
4 1/2 cups chocolate-flavored puffed corn cereal
2 ounces chocolate-flavored candy coating, melted, or 1/2 cup
semisweet chocolate chips and 1 teaspoon shortening melted together
Combine sugar, honey and corn syrup in a large sauce pan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until peanut butter mixture is smooth.
Combine peanut butter mixture and cereal in a large mixing bowl.
Press cereal mixture into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan which has been sprayed with nonstick vegetable cooking spray. Drizzle melted chocolate over the top. Cool and cut into squares.
Makes about 24 bars.
NOTE: Make drop cookies by dropping the cereal mixture by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper and drizzling chocolate over top. Makes about 60 drop cookies.

No Bake Special K Cookies recipe
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup Karo syrup
1 cup creamy peanut butter
5 to 6 cups Special K cereal
Bring sugar and syrup to a rolling boil and remove from heat. Add peanut butter and let melt. Then add 5 to 6 cups of Special K cereal until coated. Drop by teaspoon on wax paper. Let cool.
Makes about 4 to 5 dozen.
KIDS SPECIAL PIZZA BURGERS

NOTE : Fry up several pkgs of ground beef and onions shead. Divide into
even amounts, to use with kids in recipes.
2 lb. hamburger
15 oz. jar Ragu spaghetti
sauce
1 tsp. sage
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 can Spam
1 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
Brown hamburger and drain. Mix together with spaghetti
sauce and spices. Cool. Add ground Spam and grated Cheddar
cheese. Toast bun halves or split a loaf of French bread and
toast. Top with warmed pizza mixture, then Mozzarella cheese.
Broil until cheese melts. Serves lots!
Note: Can be made and frozen for later quick meals.
Kids love it; mom's too!
KIDS MIX

1 box Cheerios
1 can peanuts
2 small bags almonds
1/2 box or 1 c. raisins
Mix and let kids dig in.

KIDS DELIGHT

3 large potatoes
1 pkg. wieners
grated cheese
Cook potatoes and mash them with butter, salt, pepper
and a little milk or cream. Boil one package of wieners. Put
wieners on a large cookie sheet. Cover wieners with mashed
potatoes. Indent mashed potatoes and fill with grated cheese.
Put in oven until cheese is melted. Serve. Kids and adults
love them.

LOLLIPOPS (FOR KIDS)

1 c. raisins
1 c. dried prunes
1 c. nut meats
1 c. coconut chunks (optional)
1 c. figs
Put all the ingredients through the food grinder and
shape into balls, then flatten into oblongs. Roll each one
into ground nuts and put a wooden popsicle or craft stick in
each lollipop. If you want to get really fancy, wrap individu-
ally in clear plastic; tie with yarn and have kids put stickers
on them.

QUICKIE" FOR KIDS OR WHEN YOU'RE POOPED

1 lb. ground beef
small onion
1/4 c. brown sugar
dash of steak sauce
1 can pork and beans
Brown ground beef and drain fat. Mix all ingredients.
Serve with green salad, French fries, or fancy bread of some
sort.

"SHAKE IT" FOR KIDS

1 spoon
1 butter knife
1 qt. leakproof container
4 mugs
1 (3 1/2 oz.) Jell-O instant
pudding (any flavor)
1 large banana
1 c. Cool Whip, whipped
topping
chocolate sprinkles or chopped
nuts
In leakproof container add pudding and 2 cups cold milk;
shake it! Shake 1 minute or count to 60. In mugs slice
banana, a little in each mug. Pour instant pudding over sliced
bananas. Top with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with nuts or chocolate
sprinkles.

KIDS FAVORITE PORK AND BEANS

16 oz. can pork and beans
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. mustard
4 hot dogs, sliced and boiled
In saucepan, mix all ingredients, stirring well. Cook
at low setting for 15 minutes or bake 1/2 hour at 350 degrees in
baking dish. Serve with fries or macaroni.
CHEESY WHEATS
(Kids Love It)

4 c. spoon size shredded wheat
1/2 c. (1 stick) margarine
1 c. shredded cheese (Cheddar,
etc.)
In large saucepan melt margarine. Add cheese. When
cheese begins to melt, add shredded wheat. Toss to coat.
Serve with an hour or two after preparing. Kids love to snack
on these. A good way to eat fiber.

1 can biscuits
10 cheese cubes
10 ham cubes
Roll out biscuit and place cheese and ham cubes in each
biscuit. Fold over and close around edges with fork. Cook at
300 degrees until biscuits are brown. Great snack for kids. Easy for
kids to make.

GOOF BALLS
(Kids love these to make and eat)

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 large pkg. Kraft caramel
sq. (have kids unwrap)
1 can Eagle Brand condensed
milk
1 pkg. large marshmallows
Rice Krispies (as needed,
about 3 c.)
In microwave melt butter and caramels; add milk and
stir. Drop marshmallows, a few at a time, into mixture.
Remove from mixture and roll in Rice Krispies. Lay on wax
paper until firm. Freezes very well. Serves 40.

BREAKFAST BARS

1/2 c. butter or margarine
3 1/2 to 4 c. miniature
marshmallows
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. nonfat dry milk
1/4 c. orange-flavored instant
breakfast drink (Tang)
1 c. raisins
4 c. Cheerios cereal
1 c. coconut (optional)
In a large saucepan, melt butter and marshmallows over
low heat, stirring constantly. Stir in peanut butter until
melted. Stir in milk and breakfast drink. Remove from heat.
Fold in raisins and cereal and coconut, stirring until evenly
coated. Turn into a buttered 9 x 9-inch pan. With buttered
hands, pat evenly into pan. Cool thoroughly. Cut into bars.
Makes a terrific snack for kids. (Especially adult-size kids!)
Snow Ball Cookies
1 package shortbread cookies - crushed
1 cup flaked coconut
2/3 cup sifted powdered sugar
1/2 cup thawed, frozen orange or lemonade
Sifted powdered sugar for coating
Mix cookie crumbs, coconut and 2/3 cup powdered sugar in a large bowl. Stir in orange or lemon juice concentrate - mix well. Roll cookie dough into balls. Roll each ball in powdered sugar to make them into snowballs!
