| 4 | pounds | spareribs | country-style |
| 1 | medium | onion | sliced |
| 1/2 | cup | corn syrup, dark | |
| 2 | tablespoons | brown sugar | firmly packed |
| 1 | tablespoon | worcestershire sauce | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | liquid smoke flavoring | |
| 1/4 | cup | cider vinegar | |
| 1 | teaspoon | dry mustard | |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | chili powder | |
| 1 | cup | ketchup |
Place sapreribs in 4-6 quart Dutch oven. Coverribs with water, salt to taste.
Bring to boil; reduce heat. Simmer, covered for 1 hour or until ribs are tender; drain.
Place in 13x9 inch baking dish. Heat oven to 325 F. In a medium bowl, mix remaining ingredients. Pour sauce over ribs.
Bake at 325 F. for 30-40 minutes, basting occasionally.
Serves 4-5.

This recipe is wonderful. It may sound complicated, but it is not. It just has a lot of ingrediants. My husband and my friends loved it.
