Spinach Pasta with Red Pepper Sauce

Ingredients

6 large sweet red bell peppers
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
1 medium onion chopped
1 each garlic clove
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 x salt
1 x black pepper freshly ground
2 tablespoons basil fresh, chopped
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1 pound pasta, spinach spaghetti cooked

Directions

Broil peppers until charred on all sides.

Place in closed paper bag and let stand 10 minutes.

Remove skin, seeds and membranes and chop.

Heat oil and butter and sauté onion and garlic until tender.

Add peppers and broth and simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes.

Transfer to blender container and puree.

Season with salt and pepper, then add basil and cream.

Heat gently, but do not boil. Pour over pasta.

Homestyle Chestnut Dressing

This Stuffing is great! You also can add other things to it to make it taste real good like celery,red onions chop fine, and also add some Mild sausage would be great with this and add little salt and pepper and bake for 1/2 to 45 min. at 325 I dont use milk to this. I add beef stock instead
