Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan thoroughly to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large bowl, prepare cake mix with eggs and oil as per package instructions, but use ½ cup water and ¾ cup whiskey as the liquid. Mix until smooth.
  3. Blend in pistachio pudding mix.
  4. Gently fold in chopped cherries, walnuts, and chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  6. Cool in pan for 10-15 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. For glaze: Beat powdered sugar, butter, vanilla, and milk until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cake.
