| 3 1/2 | ounces | monterey jack cheese | grated |
| 2 | large | eggs | |
| 1 | each | onion | diced small |
| 1 | small | green bell pepper | diced small |
| 5 | slices | sourdough bread | |
| 1 | cup | milk | |
| 1 1/2 | teaspoons | steak sauce | |
| 1 1/2 | teaspoons | worcestershire sauce | |
| 1 1/2 | teaspoons | garlic salt | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | red hot pepper sauce (eg. Tabasco) | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | white pepper | ground |
| 1 | tablespoon | beef stock | prefer veal stock if possible |
| 1 | x | chili sauce | prepared |
Soak the sourdough bread in milk.
Add all the seasoning and spices (including beef base, steak sauce, worcestershire and tabasco).
Mix the ground beef with jack cheese, onion, bell pepper and egg.
Add the bread and milk to beat mixture and mix together thoroughly.
Form into a loaf and place in a glass or metal baking pan.
Pour chili sauce over the top.
Cook, covered with foil, for approximately 90 minutes at 350 degrees F.

This recipe is great. I would suggest that melting the butter and marshmallows in the microwave instead. That way their is less clean up and you would be less likely to burn the two ingredients. Also, I suggest trying to add white chocolate chips to the recipe.
