| 2 | medium | onions | chopped |
| 1/4 | cup | butter | or margarine |
| 2 | cans | tuna fish | drained |
| 2 | cups | cheddar cheese | shredded |
| 1 1/4 | cups | milk | |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | salt | if desired |
| 1/8 | teaspoon | black pepper | |
| 3 | large | eggs | |
| 2 | each | tomatoes | thinly sliced |
| 1 | cup | biscuit baking mix (bisquick) |
Heat oven to 400F.
Grease 8x8x2 inch square baking dish.
Cook onions and margarine in 10 inch skillet over low heat, stirring occasionally, until onions are light brown.
Sprinkle tuna, 1 cup of the cheese and the onions in plate.
Beat Bisquick, milk, salt, pepper and eggs with wire whisk or hand beater until almost smooth, about 1 minute.
Pour into plate.
Bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes.
Top with tomato slices and remaining cheese.
Bake until cheese is melted 3 to 5 minutes.
