| 1 | cup | active starter | |
| 1 1/4 | cups | biscuit baking mix (bisquick) | prepared |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | baking powder | |
| 1 | tablespoon | vegetable oil |
Mix all ingredients thoroughly and turn out onto a floured board, knead lightly and then roll out gently and cut into biscuits.
Brush lightly with melted butter or margarine.
Place of greased cookie sheet and bake at 450 degrees F for about 15 minutes.

Last week, we cooked tofu following this recipe, the tomato and mushroom sauce was very nice and yummy. My husband and I both love this recipe, we are just talking tonight we will make it again. This time we will serve it with some whole wheat pasta.
