| 2 | pound | beef, round steak | 1/2 inch thick |
| 2 | large | eggs | beaten |
| 2 | tablespoons | milk | |
| 2 | cups | cracker crumbs | |
| 1/4 | cup | vegetable shortening | |
| 1 | x | salt | |
| 1 | x | black pepper |
Cut steak into serving pieces.
Pound steak thoroughly.
Mix eggs and milk.
Dip meat into egg mixture, then into cracker crumbs.
Brown, slowly, on both sides in hot shortening.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cover, tightly, cook over very low heat 45 to 60 minutes or until tender.
Serve with gravy over steaks.

The terms pasta, macaroni and noodles are often used interchangeably. But they are not...
While I was reluctant to make this chicken, I must admit that this recipe is absolutely genius! It certainly does not taste low-fat at all and it pretty much goes with any side dish. Thank you!
