| 1/3 | cup | vegetable oil | |
| 1 | teaspoon | vanilla extract | |
| 1 | tablespoon | white vinegar | |
| 1 | cup | water | cold |
| 1 | teaspoon | baking soda | |
| 1 | cup | sugar | white |
| 2 | tablespoons | cocoa powder | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1 1/2 | cups | flour, all-purpose | |
| 1/2 | cup | walnuts | chopped |
Mix together the oil, vanilla, vinegar and cold water.
Add the baking soda and mix well.
Beat in the sugar, cocoa powder and salt.
Finally, fold in the flour.
Only do enough mixing to ensure that the ingredients are well blended.
Pour into baking dish.
Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F.
When cool, cut into squares.
