Ingredients

3/4 cup light cream
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 package yeast, active dry
1/4 cup water
2 large eggs
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/8 teaspoon mace
4 cups flour, all-purpose
1/3 cup currants

Directions

Combine ingredients together.

First dry ingredients, then wet ingredients.

Once a batter is made, pour into cake pan.

Bake for 40 minutes.

Invert, and cool.
